A PUNTOROSSO store embraces Wilier Triestina in all of its forms. The furnishings have been specifically designed to accommodate the entire Wilier Triestina product range, the clothing line and the accessories. You feel like you are living a true experience with the house of Rossano Veneto when you are in a PUNTOROSSO store.
Floating Suspension System
In this system the shock absorber is not anchored directly onto the frame at a certain point, but floats between two links connecting the rear stays. This unusual design boosts pedal power (and therefore effectiveness when riding uphill) because it gives the bike a low bobbing level and a low pedal kick back. The perfect system for what we wanted to achieve! The utmost efficacy riding downhill and high pedal yield riding uphill, in or out of the saddle.
Tapered Head Tube provides increased stiffness to the bottom of the head tube for enhanced steering and stability.
asymmetric rear arms
Wilier road bikes are famous for their front ends. Our integrated head tube and fork designs equate to unrivaled steerability for confident cornering and descending. The oversized, squared profile that characterizes our fork crowns and that flows into the base of our head tubes maximizes strength and stability at a key fulcrum point.
Integrated seatpost concept
We believe that a bicycle targeted to professionals should offer the best performances from every standpoint. An integrated seatpost allows the frame to achieve these peak performances, by supplying an ideal balance of mechanical operations, weight and comfort. Cento1 SR’s new integrated seatpost also offers improved aerodynamics thanks to the special truncated tail design.
Wilier Triestina still insisted on a design that allowed for fine-tuning of rear wheel position and therefore of the cogset’s orientation in relation to the rear derailleur. This enables optimal wheel alignment, aerodynamic positioning and smooth shifting. Thanks to our innovative solution providing 6mm of adjustability, wheel base and distance from tire to the rear of our truncated seat tube airfoil are customizable. This enables both aerodynamic and bike handling optimizations, as well as making wheel changes fast and simple.
IC integrated cables
The brake and derailleur cables flow inside the frame. This allow the frame to be aerodynamic, protect and cover the cables
The Wilier Triestina GTS Disc bicycle was born in the Dolomites. From our Italian headquarters in Rossano Veneto, a huge bank of mountains rises quickly out of the plains, and within the hills are hundreds of roads needing to be ridden. This is where the GTS Disc was tested; on the abrupt switchbacks of the famous Monte Grappa climb. Combining renowned Wilier handling with disc brakes, the GTS Disc builds on the soulful ride characteristics we are known for, and adds modern technology that excels on the downs as well as the ups.
Omar Di Felice won "Le Raid Provence Extreme" in "solo unsupported" mode with the new race time record (24 hours and 47 minutes to ride 585 km and 10.000 meter of ascent) Omar took the lead of the race since the beginning of the Mont Ventoux and won the race riding alone for 580 km. French riders Cyrille Genel and Thomas Dupin came in second and third position after one hour and thirty minutes. During the race the weather was bed, with strong wind on the Mont Ventoux and winter condition during the night.
The Wilier Triestina Cento1SR has won three United States National Championship titles in the last year. Its combination of low weight and aerodynamic advantage makes it the perfect weapon for a huge range of conditions. The new Cento1SR with a standard aerodynamic seat post will bring this race winning frame to a wider audience.
