After the binge of successes in 2022, the Wilier Triestina Pirelli Factory Team arrive in the 2023 with a renewed team, highly motivated and ready to stand up as a one single unit.

If the Marathon squad, which this year will also be involved in the new XCM World Cup, has remained unchanged with the reigning European champion Fabian Rabensteiner, the reigning Austrian champion Daniel Geismayr, Wout Alleman and Samuele Porro, big news comes from Olympic Cross Country squad which, alongside the Under23 world champion Simone Avondetto and the Italian Under23 champion Giada Specia, will see the arrival of 4 new athletes:

From England Cameron Orr, reigning British XCO national champion. From Denmark come Sofie and Gustav Pedersen, two crystal clear talents who already stood out last year. Sofie is in his last year among the Under23s and there are already numerous World Cup podiums under his feet. Gustav will instead be in his first year among the Under23s, but in the Junior category he has shown several times that he has something extra, so much so as to conquer the European champion's jersey. From Holland comes Morris Gruiters, another very young athlete who wore the national champion's jersey among the juniors, and who in 2023 will move up to the Under23s with a great desire to do well.

The objectives of the Wilier Triestina Pirelli Factory Team have not changed: to bring two Italian brands such as Wilier Triestina and Pirelli as high as possible in the MTB world scene, to confirm themselves also in this 2023 as one of the most enterprising and growing off-road teams in absolute.

All team athletes will race on Wilier Triestina's two top-of-the-line mountain bikes: the full suspended URTA SLR and the front USMA SLR.
