10TH PLACE FOR DREITZ AT ROMA CHALLENGE

A good start of season for Andreas Dreitz who riding the new triathlon bike Turbine, got the 10th place at Roma Challenge (70.3 distance), which held this Sunday 15th April on the seafront of Ostia. The powerful german athlete had a negative moment when a crash just after the bike change, forced him to a long stop and loose over five minutes. A drawback that completely altered his race, forcing in the attempt to a brutal comeback. Entered in the final running part in a good position, Dreitz started to feel several pain in different part of his body due to the previous crash. In this condition he could only manage the effort, crossing the finish line in 10th place with the final time of 3:27:44, 5:41 minutes behind the winner Adam Bowden (GBR).
Next race for Dreitz will be in two weeks with the Ironman 70.3 in Marbella (SPA), set on Sunday 29th April.
