WILIER TRIESTINA - PIRELLI FACTORY TEAM

It's official: the new Wilier Triestina-Pirelli Factory Team launches today with the very specific aim of placing Made in Italy excellenc at the top of world mountain bike racing. The Wilier Triestina-Pirelli project combines two names that represent Italian excellence in the cycling sector to create much more than just a team: it's a dream of bringing an Italian team back to the top rungs of international MTB racing, in both cross country and long distances.

IVAR SLIK

Ivar Slik, 29 years old, fell in love with cycling as a child. After ten years in professional road cycling, in continental and pro continental teams, he decided to take on a new challenge becoming Wilier Triestina's gravel ambassador. Early in his career, Ivar took part in both road and mountain bike races. As a professional he ran in the historic Tour of Flanders and in other races of the World Tour scene, before competing in beach races on a mountain bike, where he was crowned European Champion in 2021, and then ultimately settling into the world of gravel.
